The Logan County Engineer’s Office is alerting drivers to upcoming fog sealing work that could cause daytime delays on two county roads.

First, crews will be working on County Road 153 on Monday and Tuesday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting:

– Monday: From the Zanesfield Corporation limits to State Route 292
– Tuesday: From County Road 28 to the Middleburg Corporation limits

Then on Wednesday, fog sealing is scheduled for County Road 10 in two sections:

– From U.S. 33 to the Zanesfield Corporation limits
– From County Road 55 to U.S. 33

Thru traffic will not be allowed during work hours on any of these dates.

Local and emergency vehicles will be guided through by flaggers.

Drivers are urged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and slow down in work zones.

Fresh fog seal will leave roads with temporary unmarked no-passing zones.

For safety and proper curing, speeds should be kept below 20 mph on the first day and under 30 mph for the following week.

Fog seal helps lock in stone, reduce road noise, and improve winter road conditions by absorbing more heat.

All work is weather-dependent.

The Logan County Engineer’s Office thanks the public for its continued patience and cooperation.
