According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, 60-year-old Mark Neer of West Liberty passed away yesterday due to injuries sustained in the rollover accident on State Route 117 in Huntsville on Thursday, July 3.
Witnesses say Neer was driving a cement mixer south on State Route 117 near State Route 366 when he failed to see the vehicle in front of him slowing to turn left.
When he did notice, it was too late.
He swerved to the right to avoid colliding with the vehicle, sending his cement truck off the road.
The truck rolled as it left the road.
He was flown to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for care, where he succumbed to his injuries.
