Thursday morning, Bellefontaine Police Officers were called to the Comfort Inn about a fight.

Dispatch was told that a man was intoxicated, had assaulted a victim, and possibly had a gun.

When officers arrived, they saw the man, later identified as Jasin P. Rorabough, 32, at large, standing outside.

Officers spoke with the victim who said they just got back to the room to take a nap when the fighting began.

When they got up to use the bathroom, Rorabough followed them and called them names.

The victim started packing up their bags to leave and Rorabough pushed them.

They had left the hotel but returned to get their belongings.

Rorabough then pulled the victim’s shirt, slammed their hand into a window, and broke the glass.

Officers arrested Rorabough and transported him to the Logan County Jail for assault.
