The Bellefontaine Rotary Club welcomed new leadership Monday afternoon as Nita Wilkinson presided over her first meeting as club president.
Wilkinson officially succeeds Ted Dennis, who completed his one-year term leading the club.
She shared her vision for the coming year and the fresh perspective she hopes to bring to Rotary.
The program for the day featured Tonya Reed, who provided an update on the Butterfly Garden at Southview Park.
Reed highlighted the garden’s role in supporting monarch butterflies and other native pollinators through carefully selected native plants.
She encouraged the community to visit the garden, noting it has become a popular destination for nature lovers and families, with butterflies currently active throughout the garden.
She also shared that recent visitors have included monarchs, Eastern Commas, and Wild Indigo Duskywings.
