RTC is proud to announce that it has once again received a three-year accreditation from CARF International, the highest level awarded by the organization.
This recognition highlights RTC’s ongoing commitment to providing quality, person-centered services.
RTC’s relationship with CARF spans nearly five decades.
The organization first earned accreditation in 1977, at a time when only eight facilities in Ohio had achieved this distinction.
Nationwide, just 16% of organizations received a three-year certificate on their initial survey, making RTC’s early recognition a significant achievement.
CARF’s accreditation process is rigorous, evaluating organizations across hundreds of standards, including service quality, leadership, financial practices, and operations.
Receiving a three-year accreditation indicates that RTC consistently meets these high standards.
In its report, CARF noted that RTC “demonstrated substantial conformance to the standards” and provides programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people served.
Reviewers highlighted RTC’s efforts to help individuals find and maintain employment, supporting greater independence and stability.
Participants in RTC programs shared that their experiences positively impacted financial stability, health, relationships, and personal confidence.
Families and employers also praised RTC for its professionalism and ability to create strong job matches.
CARF additionally recognized RTC’s strong community presence in Logan County and commitment to continuous improvement, noting that long-standing partnerships played a key role in the achievement.
“This accreditation is an honor and a reflection of the dedication of the entire RTC team,” said Tonya Reed, RTC Executive Director. “Every staff member contributes to this achievement through their commitment and care for the people we serve.”
