Russells Point Man Charged with Improper Handling of a Gun, Possession & Trafficking

On Wednesday officers from the Washington Township Police Department were on patrol and conducted a traffic stop on Scott Stahler, 42 of Russells Point for a marked lanes violation.

When officers made contact with Stahler, they noticed signs of drug use.

Stahler consented to a personal search, a large amount of Methamphetamine was found & he admitted to recently using it.

His vehicle was then searched, and two loaded firearms were located.

Stahler was transported to and lodged in the Logan County Jail.

He was charged with possession & trafficking of drugs, and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
