The sales tax holiday kicked off today as parents and students prepare to stock up on back-to-school items.

Earlier this year, Governor Mike DeWine extended the sales tax holiday to 10 days.

It now runs until 11:59 pm on August 8th.

The sales tax holiday will include all tangible personal property such as clothing, shoes, electronics, and school supplies, $500 or less per item.

Keep in mind the sales tax holiday does not include purchases of watercraft, outboard motors, motor vehicles, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, vapor products, or items that contain marijuana.
