In Bellefontaine, Santa Claus is spreading holiday cheer from the rooftop of a home on Woodglen Drive in Whispering Pines.
This beloved tradition captivated over 500 car visitors in 2023 and began during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Santa continues to wave and interact with visitors from his perch on the roof.
This year, Santa’s holiday visit began on Tuesday night and will continue through December 24th.
Residents and visitors alike are invited to catch Santa in action every evening from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, weather permitting.
The event has quickly grown in popularity, drawing crowds who gather to see Santa from a safe distance and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
“I love seeing the kids’ faces light up when they spot me on the roof,” said Santa. “It’s a magical part of the holiday season, and I’m glad it’s become such a big tradition.”
Neighbors don’t mind the traffic in the neighborhood and many have joined in the holiday spirit decorating their homes.
An elf is often seen giving out candy canes to those who may by to pay a visit to St. Nicholas.
