Holiday cheer will roll through Russells Point on Wednesday evening, as the Indian Joint Fire District hosts its annual Santa’s Tour of the Point.
The festive tour gets underway at 5:30 p.m., with Santa riding through downtown aboard a fire district vehicle, waving to families and spreading Christmas spirit along the way.
Residents can catch a glimpse of Santa at several popular viewing spots, including:
- Donut Shop
- Taco Bell
- LuLu’s
- The Landing
- The Costume Shop
- McDonald’s
- IL Pizza & Sub
- Dairy Queen
- Gathering Grounds
The route will travel along Main Street and Lincoln Boulevard, giving plenty of opportunities for kids and families to enjoy the fun.
After the tour, everyone is invited to stop by the firehouse, where Santa will be waiting along with hot cocoa, toys, and plenty of smiles.
The event is free and open to the public, and community members are encouraged to bundle up, gather along the route, and enjoy an evening filled with small-town holiday magic.
