A two-vehicle crash happened just after 8 p.m. Saturday on East Lake Avenue near Michigan Street in Bellefontaine.
According to a Bellefontaine Police Department crash report, a 2017 Toyota Corolla driven by 32-year-old Luis DeJesus of Bellefontaine was traveling eastbound on East Lake Avenue.
A 2012 Honda Civic, operated by 23-year-old Madison DeLong of Bellefontaine, was traveling northbound on Michigan Street and approaching East Lake Avenue.
Police say DeLong briefly stopped at the stop sign before proceeding onto East Lake Avenue and into the path of the Toyota.
The collision sent both vehicles northbound into the grass.
DeLong was cited for failure to yield. DeJesus was checked at the scene by Bellefontaine EMS for possible injuries.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
