School districts offer athletic passes for seniors

Several area school districts are making it easier for senior citizens to enjoy home athletic events by offering special passes.

Bellefontaine City Schools provides the Monicha Simpson Pass to anyone 60 and older living within the district.

The pass allows entry to all home contests at Bellefontaine High School and Bellefontaine Middle School. .

Seniors can pick up their pass at the Central Office, 820 Ludlow Road, by showing a valid photo ID.

At Indian Lake Schools, seniors aged 62 and older can choose between two options.

District residents receive a Golden Laker pass free of charge, while non-residents can purchase a Golden Laker pass for $25.

Both are available at the Indian Lake Administration Office.

West Liberty-Salem Schools offers a lifetime Senior Pass for fans 65 and older.

The pass is available to district residents as well as non-residents who regularly attend because of family participation.

It provides complimentary admission to all WL-S home athletic events and is available year-round.

Seniors must apply in person at the Central Office and present a photo ID.

Riverside Schools provides free senior citizen passes to anyone 60 and older.

The pass is valid for all Riverside home events, except Three Rivers Conference or OHSAA tournament games.

Visiting seniors also receive discounted pricing, paying $5 instead of $8 for varsity games and $3 instead of $6 for junior high events.

Benjamin Logan Schools also offers senior passes to residents of the district who are 60 and older.

These passes can be picked up at the Central Office.

These programs give seniors across the county a chance to stay connected, support their community schools, and cheer on the next generation of athletes.
