Bellefontaine Police were called to a home in 100 Block of School Street Thursday evening.
Dispatch had received two 911 calls where they could hear a man and woman yelling in the background.
When officers arrived on the scene, Samantha Seay, 18, of Bellefontaine, approached them when they were attempting to speak with another individual.
She was told to stop yelling and walking toward the officers multiple times, however she ignored requests.
An officer attempted to place Seay’s hands behind her back when she began to struggle.
During the struggle, she kicked an officer in the chest.
Seay was then placed in handcuffs and escorted to the officer’s cruiser where she refused to sit upright.
Continuing to scream, Seay was then removed from the vehicle and escorted to another cruiser.
After a brief struggle, she was taken to the Logan County Jail where she refused to exit the vehicle and had to be forcibly removed.
Seay was lodged for obstructing official business, persistent disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault on a peace officer.
