Bellefontaine High School recently named its Seniors of the Month, Brianne Sechrest and Jaylen Henry.

Brianne Sechrest is the daughter of Kevin and Megan Sechrest of Bellefontaine.

School activities and awards: I ran cross country and track. In cross country, I received the CBC Sportsmanship Award two years in a row and the Coaches Award this year.

If I were principal for a day: I would have a food truck day for lunch.

Favorite school memory: Running cross country. I was able to build memories and form a pathway for college.

People who have been an inspiration to me: My mom and dad.

Lately I’ve been reading: Anything psychology-related.

My advice to parents: Be supportive each step of the way, just like my parents have.

My biggest regret: Not getting involved sooner.

Next year: I will be attending Bluffton University to run cross country and track. I plan to have a pre-med major and to continue to medical school.

Jaylen Henry is the son of Luther Henry and Katie Fogarty of Bellefontaine.

School activities and awards: Swim team.

If I were principal for a day: I would organize a field trip for the seniors.

Favorite school memory: Around Christmas time, in certain classes we would watch Christmas movies and just relax.

People who have been an inspiration to me: My parents and coaches.

Lately I’ve been reading: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain.

My advice to parents: Always be supportive and caring towards your kids. It goes a long way.

My biggest regret: Not swimming my freshman year.

Next year: I plan to attend The Ohio State University and major in health science.

Congratulations!
