The Logan County Sheriff’s Office handled another crash at the intersection of U.S. 33 and County Road 57, making it the second incident at that location within the past week.
According to deputies, the crash happened Saturday just after 3:15 p.m.
A 2019 GMC Terrain driven by 83-year-old Estel Salmons of Ashville was traveling eastbound on U.S. 33 when a 2006 Toyota Scion, driven by 46-year-old Nicholas Leali of Upper Arlington, attempted a left turn from the southbound lane of County Road 57.
Authorities say Leali failed to yield the right of way, entering the travel lane, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.
Following the impact, the GMC Terrain traveled off the roadway and into a ditch on the right side of U.S. 33.
No injuries were reported.
Both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene.
Leali was cited for failure to yield.
