Second Harvest Food Bank of Champaign, Clark, and Logan Counties has released its full mobile food distribution schedule for February, providing multiple opportunities for residents in Champaign and Logan counties to receive free groceries.
Mobile food distributions are open to individuals and families in need and do not require appointments.
Distributions may be canceled in cases of severe weather.
Champaign County Distribution Schedule
The Champaign County schedule begins on Wednesday, February 11, with a drive-thru distribution at Triad High School, located at 8099 Brush Lake Road in Woodstock, from 4 to 5 p.m.
On Monday, February 16, a drive-thru distribution will be held at the St. Paris Firehouse, 135 West Main Street in St. Paris, from 1 to 2 p.m.
Another drive-thru distribution is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, at Woodstock Free Will Baptist Church, 332 West Bennett Street in Woodstock, from 4 to 5 p.m.
On Friday, February 20, Second Harvest will be at the Champaign County Fairgrounds, 384 Park Avenue in Urbana, with a drive-thru distribution running from 10 to 11 a.m.
The Champaign County schedule wraps up on Thursday, February 26, with a drive-thru distribution at St. Michael’s Church, 40 Walnut Street in Mechanicsburg, from 4 to 5 p.m.
Logan County Distribution Schedule
Logan County distributions begin on Tuesday, February 3, with a walk-up distribution at the Annex Building, 11443 Shawnee Path in Lakeview, from 11 a.m. to noon. Attendees are encouraged to bring carts, bags, or boxes to carry food.
On Wednesday, February 4, a drive-thru distribution will be held at Lion’s Club Ball Park, 576 Township Road 174 in West Liberty, from noon to 1 p.m. The same location will host another drive-thru distribution on Wednesday, February 18, also from noon to 1 p.m.
A drive-thru distribution is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, at Richland Township Park, 615 North Center Street in Belle Center, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
On Thursday, February 19, Second Harvest will be at the Rushsylvania Church of Christ, 170 Mill Street East in Rushsylvania, with a drive-thru distribution from 11 a.m. to noon.
The Logan County schedule continues on Monday, February 23, with a drive-thru distribution at the Logan County Fairgrounds, 301 East Lake Avenue in Bellefontaine, from 11 a.m. to noon.
The month concludes on Tuesday, February 24, with a drive-thru distribution at St. Vincent de Paul, 463 Madison Avenue in Russell’s Point, from 11 a.m. to noon.
