Sunday around 8:15 PM, a semi-truck went off the roadway and struck a fence along U.S. 33 in Logan County.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved a 2025 Freightliner Cascadia operated by 38-year-old Tobias Earl of McComb, Mississippi.
Earl told deputies he was traveling eastbound on U.S. 33 when the semi hit a patch of water and he lost control.
The truck left the roadway, entered the ditch, and struck a state-owned fence.
No injuries were reported.
Earl was cited for failure to control, and Tops Towing removed the semi from the scene.

A semi truck ran off U.S. 33 Sunday evening between Bellefontaine and Huntsville.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the American Logistics Systems semi was traveling eastbound on U.S. 33 around 8 p.m. when it went off the right side of the roadway.
The semi came to rest in a fence line.
It is currently unknown what caused the crash or whether anyone was injured.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office handled the crash.
