Husted spoke to the crowd about early voting, encouraging supporters to reach out to family members and friends to make sure they get out and vote in November.
He also urged voters to support Republican candidates throughout the ballot.
Husted also spoke about what brought him to the political scene and what he wants voters to know:
Husted was appointed to the U.S. Senate in January 2025 by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to fill the seat vacated by JD Vance, who left the Senate after becoming vice president.
Before joining the Senate, Husted served as Ohio’s lieutenant governor under Governor Mike DeWine.
He also previously served as Ohio secretary of state, speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, and a member of both chambers of the Ohio General Assembly.
Husted is running for a full Senate term in the November general election, facing Democrat Sherrod Brown, who previously held the Senate seat for nearly two decades before losing to Vance in 2024.
