On Monday, at a well-attended Logan County Republican Party meeting, State Senator Susan Manchester spoke at the luncheon held at the American Legion in Bellefontaine.
Manchester, a first-year senator but no stranger to state government, gave details about the Senate’s proposed state budget.
She outlined the heavily discussed details and priorities included in the plan, which is set to have a final vote by the Senate later this week.
She talks about a couple of the highlights of the budget:
Following the Senate’s approval, the budget will be sent to Governor Mike DeWine for final approval.
The deadline for signing the budget into law is June 30.
Manchester stressed the work that was put into the budget for Ohio’s future and assured attendees that nothing in the more than 5,000-page document was taken lightly.
