An 11-year-old girl was injured in a crash Sunday afternoon just outside of Quincy.
The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 235 and State Route 706.
According to authorities, 33-year-old Darlene Overby of Ft. Laramie was driving a Chevrolet Equinox eastbound on State Route 706.
She failed to yield at a stop sign and turned left onto State Route 235 in front of a Dodge Ram driven by 52-year-old Thomas Linville of Urbana.
Linville, traveling southbound on State Route 235, collided with Overby’s vehicle.
Overby had three passengers, including the 11-year-old girl, who was transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney for treatment.
The other passengers, as well as both drivers, suffered only minor injuries.
Overby was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
