Giovanni Ruiu, 28, of Sidney, was arrested Saturday night for possession after a traffic stop on West Sandusky Avenue.
Bellefontaine Police saw Ruiu make an improper turn from Pratt Street onto West Sandusky Avenue and attempted to make a traffic stop.
Taking several moments before stopping, Ruiu indicated to officers that he may be trying to conceal something within the vehicle.
Officers asked Ruiu to step out of the vehicle after he seemed overly nervous.
He was asked if there was anything illegal that K9 would alert on.
Ruiu told officers that he did not have anything on him or in his vehicle that was illegal.
The passenger, Marlon Robinson, 41, of Sidney, was then also asked to step out of the vehicle.
K9 Boodik sniffed the vehicle and alerted on it.
During a vehicle search, officers turned up two needles found in the center console.
Ruiu was then placed under arrest and searched.
Officers found two needles, heroin, methamphetamine, and crack cocaine on Ruiu.
He was transported to the Logan County Jail where he was charged with possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, and drug abuse instruments.
Robinson was also arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail on a parole violation.
