Quest Federal Credit Union honored six teachers Wednesday afternoon with their annual Teacher of Year awards at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center’s Sloan Inn.

The education professionals were chosen after nominations from students, parents, fellow educators, and the community.

Out of the hundreds of nominations, the six winners chosen this year were:

Mollie Johns, Kindergarten Teacher, Benjamin Logan Elementary School

Jeanie Tipple, Spanish Teacher, Bellefontaine High School

Danae Dray, Kindergarten Teacher, Calvary Christian School

Christina Fullerton, Indian Lake Middle School

Jason Robinson, Social Studies Instructor, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center

Jack Switzer (represented by Danielle King), Riverside Middle School

Award nominations were received online from the community and evaluated by the Supervisory Committee of Quest Federal Credit Union. Awards were based on student, teacher, and peer feedback.

Quest Federal Credit Union expressed appreciation to these award winners, as well as those nominated, for being excellent leaders in the education of the students of Logan County.

“Quest is proud to support the education of the children in the communities served by Quest FCU,” Quest CEO Matt Jennings said. “Thank you for being a positive influence in the lives of the students you teach every day.”
