It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play from Windmill Productions will be performed at The Holland Theatre in downtown Bellefontaine on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

This version of the beloved holiday movie is presented as a live 1940s radio broadcast.

Local actors portray multiple roles and create sound effects, bringing to life the story of idealistic George Bailey as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

Unlike the original film, this production uses live performance, with actors creating everything from the clatter of snow on rooftops to the bustle of busy streets in real time.

Windmill Productions captures the heart and warmth of the original movie while offering audiences a fresh and immersive theatrical experience.

Friday morning, a few members of the cast joined Ken Keller, Morning Show host on 98.3 WPKO, for Reverse Trivia:

Left to right: Chris Tillman, Assistant Director; Larry Novak; Mayleigh Lane; Nikki Burkhamer; Chris Hildreth-Blair; Anita Craig, Director

For fans of classic holiday storytelling and innovative theater, this production offers a unique way to celebrate the season.
