A Bellefontaine man was cited after a rear-end crash Monday afternoon on U.S. 33.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened just before 4:00 p.m. near State Route 540.
Deputies say 42-year-old Justin Impson was driving a 2011 Chevy Equinox when he struck the rear of a 2024 Acura ZDX.
The Acura was driven by 58-year-old Charles Holton of Lakeview.
Authorities report that neither driver was injured in the crash.
According to the report, Impson was traveling approximately 85 miles per hour in a 70-mile-per-hour zone and was distracted by something inside his vehicle at the time of the crash.
Impson was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.
