A Springfield teenager was arrested in Urbana on Sunday after he was found to be driving under the influence and carrying a rifle.
Authorities stopped a 2015 black Dodge traveling northbound on State Route 68 at 1:51 a.m. for driving with no headlights.
When conducting the traffic stop near Pearce Place, authorities found 19-year-old Hayden Hagerman to be carrying a black AR-15 with ammunition and suspected him of being intoxicated.
Hagerman was arrested and booked on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, improperly handling a firearm, and OVI.
The rifle and ammunition were taken in as evidence. The case is still under investigation.
