Monday evening, the Indian Lake Board of Education met for its March meeting and made several staffing changes.
The Board approved several one-year contracts for the Elementary School- starting in the 2025-26 school year:
- Delani Harter, 3rd Grade
- Elaine Keller, 3rd Grade
- Raelyn Parsell, 1st Grade
- Avery Shirk, 3rd/4th Grade
Dave Coburn, the Assistant High School Principal, also announced that he will retire at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.

Coburn’s retirement will open up a leadership position at the high school, though the search for a replacement has not yet been discussed.
The district also accepted several grants given to the schools, including one from the Fraternal Order of Eagles of $10,359.73.
These funds will help support various district initiatives and activities.
The next Board meeting will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Board of Education Office.
