Stierhoff shows the ability in disability

Sara Stierhoff is proving every day that ability knows no limits.

A beloved member of the community, Sara has consistently demonstrated her passion for giving back, leading, and inspiring those around her.

A graduate of Benjamin Logan High School, Sara made a lasting impact as a member of the high school band and as homecoming queen.

Today, she continues to contribute to her alma mater as a dedicated volunteer, working closely with the first-grade classes every Thursday.

Her efforts have not gone unnoticed by the Ben Logan staff, as the first-grade team expressed their gratitude, saying, “The first-grade team is so thankful for Sara, our incredible Thursday volunteer! She brings joy, support, and a helping hand to our team each week. Her kindness, dedication, and positive spirit make a difference in so many ways. Thank you, Sara, for all you do for our students and staff!”

Sara’s dedication to her community doesn’t stop at Benjamin Logan.

She actively volunteers at GRACE Ministries in DeGraff with RTC’s PosAbilities program, and works at Firehouse Pizza, bringing her warm spirit and enthusiasm to everyone she encounters.

Currently, Sara is also spearheading a new inclusive playground for her local park in Rushsylvania.

Beyond her professional and volunteer commitments, Sara is a powerhouse in the Logan County Special Olympics, where she participates with the Braves in softball, and track, and leads the cheer team.

She also takes center stage at every Braves event, singing the National Anthem with pride.

Her commitment to service extends to her church where she remains an active participant, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed.

Those who know Sara describe her as a joy to be around, a positive force that embodies kindness and determination.

Sara Stierhoff is a shining example of resilience, passion, and unwavering dedication to her community.

Through her actions, she continues to break barriers, redefine expectations, and inspire countless individuals to see the ability in disability.
