Wednesday, shortly before noon, according to reports from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Township Road 200 and County Road 18 resulted in no injuries.
Deputies say 79-year-old Marilyn Slayer, of DeGraff, was driving a 2007 Honda Civic northbound on Township Road 200 and stopped at the intersection with County Road 18.
At the same time, a 2025 Honda CR-V, driven by 15-year-old Vanessa Friedrich, of Bellefontaine, was traveling southwest on County Road 18 and had the right of way.
Investigators say Slayer pulled into the intersection from the stop sign and struck Friedrich’s vehicle in the middle of the intersection.
Following the collision, the Civic came to rest disabled in the intersection, while the CR-V spun around before leaving the roadway and coming to rest off the right side of County Road 18.
No injuries were reported.
Slayer was cited for a stop sign violation.
