Stop sign violation leads to crash; Minor injuries reported

Logan County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on Thursday morning at the intersection of County Road 44 and State Route 559.

According to the report, just after 1:00 AM, a 2022 Honda Civic driven by Blayne Oder, 23, of West Liberty, failed to stop at the stop sign and struck the right side of a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Disree Clark, 29, of North Lewisburg.

Both vehicles went off the roadway following the impact.

Clark’s vehicle then struck a utility pole.

She was transported to Memorial Health in Marysville by Allen Township Fire & EMS with minor injuries.

Oder was cited for a stop sign violation.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
