The City of Bellefontaine has announced a temporary street and parking lot closure beginning next week due to a storm sewer collapse.
Starting at 6:00 a.m. on Monday, City Parking Lot #4 and Canby Street—specifically the north/south alley between West Sandusky Avenue and West Columbus Avenue, and between North Detroit Street and North Main Street—will be closed to traffic.
The closure is expected to last through 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, as crews from Levan’s Excavating complete the necessary repair work.
City officials are encouraging residents and visitors to plan ahead and use alternate routes during the closure.
