The Urbana Fire Division responded to a structure fire Monday night in the 200 block of Logan Street.
Fire crews were dispatched around 10:16 p.m. and arrived about five minutes later to find smoke coming from the residence. Crews immediately began an interior fire attack, with water on the fire by 10:23 p.m. The fire was declared under control about five minutes later.
One occupant was transported to a local hospital, while three others were evaluated at the scene for injuries related to the incident.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the room where it started. A damage assessment is underway, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The West Liberty Fire Department also assisted at the scene through mutual aid. Off-duty Urbana firefighters were called in to help maintain emergency coverage during the response.
