The Logan County Student United Way has finalized funding decisions for the upcoming year, awarding $25,000 to programs focused on helping local youth.
Student members reviewed 13 applications requesting nearly $70,000 in funding, making this year’s selection process especially competitive.
Organizers said the students took the responsibility seriously, carefully discussing each request and focusing on programs that would make the biggest impact on children and families throughout Logan County.
Programs receiving funding include:

- Bellefontaine City Schools — Summer Enrichment Academy Scholarships: $3,825
- Hilliker YMCA — Basketball Program: $1,500
- Midwest Regional ESC — Summer Autism Academy: $6,500
