Rotary District 6670 hosted its annual District Four-Way Test Speech Contest on Sunday at Wright State University’s Millett Hall Atrium.

The event brought together about two dozen student contestants—winners from club-level competitions across the district—to deliver speeches centered on Rotary’s Four-Way Test.

The contest gave students a chance to explore Rotary’s core values while sharpening their public speaking skills.

It also allowed Rotarians and community members to connect with and support emerging youth leaders throughout the district.

Jake Moreland and Greyson Wagoner

Representing the Bellefontaine Rotary Club were Jake Moreland, a junior at Bellefontaine High School, and Greyson Wagoner, a senior at Benjamin Logan High School.

Both qualified for the district competition after finishing in the top two at their club-level contest on February 2.

At the district level, Moreland earned a third-place finish, taking home a $200 cash prize for his achievement.

The District Four-Way Test Speech Contest continues to reflect Rotary’s dedication to youth development, ethical leadership, and “Service Above Self.”
