Sunday, the West Liberty Fire Department, the Quincy Volunteer Fire Department, and the DeGraff Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to provide mutual aid toa barn fire on Crowl Road to assist the Rosewood Fire Department.
Upon arrival, crews found the barn already fully involved in flames.
Firefighters were able to rescue a dog from the structure, but many other animals were lost in the blaze.
The Macochee Joint Ambulance District also responded to assist at the scene.
Officials say the barn was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no human injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
