Just after 11:15 Sunday morning, Bellefontaine police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of East Patterson Avenue and Ludlow Road.
According to the report, Melissa Vance, 49, of Bellefontaine, was driving a 2025 Acura MDX when she failed to yield (Editor’s note: Previous story used the word “stop” instead of the word “yield”) at a stop sign and struck a 2019 Chevy Silverado heading south on Ludlow Road.
The truck was driven by 54-year-old Phillip McNutt, also of Bellefontaine.
His passenger, Krista McNutt, 53, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine EMS.
Vance was cited for a stop sign violation.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
