Sweet sale! Baked goods auction held Wednesday night

The annual Baked Goods Auction was held Wednesday night at the Logan County Fair.

Several adult and youth bakers showed off their goods to a variety of buyers from the community.

123 items went out the door including cakes, pies, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, and buckeyes.

The night hauled in close to $5,000.  One of the largest items of the evening was a cake from Marley Young that sold for $130 to Kyle Springs & Dr. Terebuh’s Office. Barb McKeen’s cheesecake was bought by Steve Austin’s for $100.

Businesses that walked out with the most items were Steve Austin’s, Middlefield Bank, and Dr. Terebuh’s Office.

The items were auctioned off by Eric Price and Lane Hollingsworth.
