The Logan County Sheriff’s Office handled a two-vehicle crash on State Route 235 around 4:30 PM on Tuesday.
According to the sheriff’s office, a 2012 Ford F-150 operated by 51-year-old Benjamin Mulldane of Lakeview was traveling southbound on State Route 235 when he slowed for a vehicle waiting to turn into a private drive.
A 2017 Jeep Renegade driven by 16-year-old Brooklyn Smedley of Belle Center was traveling behind the truck and failed to maintain an assured clear distance, striking the right rear of the F-150.
Smedley was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
No injuries were reported.
