The Logan County Sheriff’s Office reports that they were involved in a high-speed pursuit early Tuesday morning just after midnight.
Deputies were on patrol on State Route 47 near West Mansfield when they noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.
Radar confirmed the car was going 110 mph.
Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, but it continued at a high rate of speed.
The pursuit continued on County Road 8 with speeds reaching 100-110 mph.
The car ran stop signs at the intersection of County 8 and County Road 12 and then again at the intersection of County Road 12 and State Route 47.
The fleeing vehicle eventually began to slow down and pulled over.
Deputies arrested the driver, Ryan Loomis, 16, of Bellefontaine.
He was charged with speed, reckless operation, 3 stop sign violations, and failure to comply.
He was taken to the Central Ohio Youth Center in Marysville.
Three other juveniles who were in the vehicle were released to their parents.
