Thomas arrested for driving with suspended license

On Friday at around 1:48 p.m., Logan County Sheriff Deputies observed Vincent Thomas, of Bellefontaine, driving south on Detroit Street near West Sandusky Avenue.

A registration check revealed that Thomas had a current administrative license suspension. The vehicle was registered to him, and a traffic stop was initiated.

When the officer made contact with Thomas, it was confirmed that he was driving with a suspended license.

Dispatch also confirmed that Thomas had prior convictions for driving under suspension, with his most recent conviction on October 7th, 2019.

During the stop, the officer also checked the passenger’s identification.

It was discovered that the passenger had an active warrant out of Indiana.

Thomas was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
