Indian Lake lit up the night sky on Saturday with a dazzling 27-minute fireworks display that left thousands of spectators in awe.
Residents and visitors from across the region packed the lakeshore, boats, and nearby parking lots to witness the annual Fourth of July celebration.
The show, known for its scale and music, lived up to its reputation.
This year, the soundtrack blended patriotic classics with modern hits, bringing back “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” a crowd favorite.
“We are already working on next year’s 250th celebration,” said Amber Fagan, Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce, “We’re going to pull out all the stops!”
The event, organized by the Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce, drew record crowds this year, thanks in part to clear skies and a holiday weekend.
Emergency services reported a mostly safe and smooth event.
As the finale lit up the lake, applause and cheers echoed across the water.
