According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Monday morning, just after 8 AM, Ashley Nichelson, 42, of Belle Center, was traveling southbound on State Route 638 in a Blue 2018 Ford Explorer.
An Amish buggy then ran the stop sign on State Route 274 causing Nichelson to hit the buggy, causing it to spin around.
Both vehicles then came to rest on the west side of the road.
Three children were inside the buggy at the time of the accident.
Huntsville EMS transported a 7-year-old girl to Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine for treatment.
Also, BMRT and Huntsville EMS transported an 11-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl for injuries to St. Ritas Hospital in Lima.
Their conditions are unknown at this time.
No citations were issued and the accident was captured by dash camera in Nichelson’s vehicle.
