The Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to three separate two-vehicle crashes across Logan County on Sunday.
No injuries were reported in any of the crashes.
The first crash happened shortly after noon at the intersection of Zanesfield Road and Pickerelltown Street in West Liberty.
According to the crash report, 17-year-old Sutton Wilcoxon of West Liberty was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger southbound on Zanesfield Road.
Wilcoxon failed to stop for a 2018 Honda Accord driven by 19-year-old Michelle Roberts of Bellefontaine.
Roberts was stopped in traffic and attempting to make a left-hand turn when Wilcoxon rear-ended her vehicle.
Deputies reported that Wilcoxon was distracted while driving.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Wilcoxon was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.
The second crash happened around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 235 and Mohawk Path in Lakeview.
A 2012 Toyota Corolla driven by 16-year-old Kyler Carruthers of Lakeview was traveling northbound on State Route 235 when he rear-ended a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by 74-year-old Jerry Gruber.
Gruber was also traveling northbound on State Route 235 at the time of the crash.
The Toyota Corolla sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Carruthers was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.
The third crash happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 16000 block of State Route 235.
According to the report, 22-year-old Collin Watterson of Belle Center was driving a 2015 Honda Accord and was pulling out of a driveway when he failed to see a second 2015 Honda Accord traveling northbound on State Route 235.
That vehicle was driven by 36-year-old Jamie McNeal of Marysville.
McNeal struck Watterson’s vehicle, then swerved off the right side of the roadway and struck a shed.
No injuries were reported.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and Watterson was issued a citation for failure to yield.
