The 2025 Dayton Air Show takes flight Saturday and Sunday, with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds headlining for the first time since 2023.

Now in its 51st year, the air show features more than 10 aerial acts, over 85 ground displays, and several returning favorites.

Among the highlights is the rare B-29 Superfortress “Doc,” one of only two still flying in the world.

Schedule

  • Gates open: 9:00 a.m.
  • Flying begins: Around 11:15 a.m.
  • Gates close: 6:00 p.m.

With temperatures expected to reach 90 degrees, organizers urge visitors to stay hydrated and seek shade in a cool, shaded area if possible.

A full medical staff will be on-site for heat-related emergencies.
