The City of Urbana is advising motorists of a temporary traffic pattern change beginning around 7:30 AM on Friday.
City officials say a work crew will be repairing a water main break in the area, requiring several closures and restrictions at the intersection of South Main Street and Water Street.
During the repair work, turn lanes from South Main Street to West Water Street will be closed.
There will be no left turn permitted from East Water Street onto South Main Street, and West Water Street will be closed at the intersection.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes while crews complete the repairs.
