Late Sunday night, a traffic stop led to the arrest of two individuals after deputies found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside a vehicle.

Just before midnight, deputies pulled over a gray sedan traveling east on State Route 47 after the vehicle crossed the center line near State Route 235.

The driver and two passengers, Thomas Whitehead, 40, and Joplyn Blosser, 22, were identified.

Due to suspicious behavior, K9 Tega was brought in to assist with the stop.

Tega then alerted to the presence of drugs near the rear passenger door of the vehicle.

The passengers were asked to exit the vehicle for further investigation.

Blosser was found with a small bag of methamphetamine concealed in her pants.

Further searches uncovered a glass pipe, syringes, and additional methamphetamine were also hidden.

She was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substances, tampering with evidence, and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Whitehead, who admitted to using drugs earlier in the day, was also found to be on probation.

He was arrested for violating his probation.

The driver and another passenger were released from the scene without charges.

Both Blosser and Whitehead were transported to the Logan County Jail.
