Traffic stop leads to major drug bust in Mechanicsburg

A routine traffic stop in Mechanicsburg on Saturday resulted in a significant drug seizure and the arrest of a repeat offender.

According to the Mechanicsburg Police Department, an officer stopped a speeding vehicle and discovered the driver had no valid license and multiple prior convictions.

During a vehicle search, officers found 16 grams of cocaine, 45 grams of marijuana, packaging materials, a digital scale, and cash—all items consistent with drug trafficking.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident, and all contraband was seized.

Police credited the outcome to proactive enforcement and a continued focus on keeping illegal drugs off the streets.
