A woman was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop early Thursday morning, according to reports from the Bellefontaine Police Department.

Around 1 a.m., officers saw a black Honda Accord with heavy front-end damage and a headlight out traveling on North Main Street.

Officers initiated a traffic stop after discovering that the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license.

The driver, later identified as Sierra Brazier, 25, of Jackson Center, told officers the vehicle belonged to her mother and admitted she did not have a valid driver’s license.

During a search, officers found a cut straw and a crack pipe in Brazier’s jacket pocket.

They also found a piece of foil containing a pill and pill fragments, and a plastic baggie with a crystal-like substance.

A field test showed that the substance was methamphetamine.

Brazier admitted the drugs were meth and claimed she was holding them for a friend.

A further search of the vehicle turned up a pill bottle containing antibiotics and a mirror with residue.

Brazier was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail, where she was charged with aggravated possession of drugs.
