Late Thursday night, Logan County Sheriff Deputies were on patrol on County Road 130 when they saw an SUV pulling a loaded trailer in the Stites parking lot.
Deputies approached the driver, later identified as Brandy Darnell, 38, of West Mansfield.
She told deputies that she and her two passengers, Edward Langley, 38, of West Mansfield, and Jeffery Rivers, 63, of West Mansfield, were cleaning out her storage unit in Russells Point.
Deputies noticed that a motorcycle was on the trailer with Ohio Registration plates.
They asked Darnell who owned the motorcycle. She said she didn’t know and that it came from the storage units in Lakeview.
She went on to say they were taking it to law enforcement.
The Bellefontaine Police Department contacted the motorcycle owner, who stated no one should have the bike.
Deputies placed Darnell, Langley, and Rivers under arrest.
They were transported to and lodged at the Logan County Jail where they were charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle.
