The Indian Lake High School has announced the September Seniors of the Month, Camdon Tuttle & Haylee Edwards.

Name: Camdon Tuttle

School: Indian Lake High School

Parents: Greg and Michele Tuttle

Address: Huntsville

School Activities and awards: Basketball, Baseball, Golf, National Honor Society, Honor Roll, Homecoming King

If I were principal for a day: I would give everybody a free day.

Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is getting early to school to play PIG with my friends on a mini hoop.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My mom, dad, brother and sister.

Lately I’ve been reading: Fight Club by Chuck Palahnuik

My advice to parents: Let your kids go places and do things with their friends because they are never going to have that opportunity again.

My biggest regret: I regret living too much in the past and what happened instead of living in the present and enjoying everything that was going on.

Next year I will be: Attending a 4 year college in an undecided major.

Name: Haylee Edwards

School: Indian Lake High School

Parents: Rodney and Bobbi Edwards

Address: Lewistown

School Activities and Awards: Varsity Softball & Basketball, Business Professionals of America, Science Club, National Honor Society, Honda Achievement Breakfast, 4.0 Honor Roll, 1st Team CBC Softball- 3 years, District Honorable Mention (Softball), CBC Sportsmanship Award (Basketball)

If I were principal for a day: I would let people bring blankets into class because they make everything more comfortable and everyone talks about how they wish they could have blankets at school.

Favorite school memory: My favorite school memory is the basketball tournament sophomore year with Savannah Hill, Katie Roby, Kaitlyn Shaner, and Carson Barth. We won our bracket.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents, my grandparents, and all of my friends!

Lately I’ve been reading: Any books by Colleen Hoover

My advice to parents:  Let your kids experience things. If they don’t get to go out and do new things, they will never build new skills and learn from their mistakes.

My biggest regret: I regret not taking CCP classes while in high school.

Next year I will be: Attending an undecided college for an undecided major.
