Two men were arrested Sunday evening after a fight broke out at Froggy’s bar in Lakeview.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the establishment shortly after 7:00 PM for reports of three people involved in a fight.

As deputies responded, dispatch reported the people involved had left the scene in a black sedan with out-of-state license plates.

Deputies found the vehicle traveling northbound on Township Road 293 and conducted a traffic stop.

One of the passengers, later identified as Justin Kreutzer, of Woodstock, denied being at Froggy’s and became confrontational with deputies.

Deputies noticed that he had a cut on his knuckle and scratches on his arm.

Kreutzer claimed he had been at a nearby bar, not Froggy’s, and said the injuries were from his work as a mechanic and from dogs.

Upon further investigation, the driver—identified as Caleb Clark, of Arcanum—admitted the group had been involved in a fight at Froggy’s.

The bar’s owner told deputies that Clark had punched an employee hard enough to loosen a tooth and that Kreutzer had shoved and grabbed several staff members while being escorted out.

Surveillance footage later confirmed the altercation.

Both men were arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.

While in custody, Kreutzer allegedly made threatening comments toward corrections staff, including threats to harm their families.

The prosecutor’s office will review whether additional charges will be filed related to those threats.

Kreutzer and Clark are both charged with assault and have been officially trespassed from Froggy’s.
