The driver of the vehicle, 61-year-old Mark Robinson, of Midway, admitted to recently buying the vehicle and was driving with a suspended license.

Meanwhile, the passenger of the vehicle, Geoffrey Campbell, 60, of Springfield, was seen tucking something into his shoe.

Officers detained both men while conducting personal and vehicle searches.

A large sum of cash and a small amount of crack cocaine was found in Robinson’s pocket.

A larger portion of cocaine was found in Campbell’s shoe.

Other samples of unknown drugs were found in the vehicle.

Both men were charged with felony possession of drugs and Campbell was charged with tampering with evidence.
